We are delighted to offer a wonderful set of four ‘model 197’ dining chairs, designed by Finn Juhl for France and Son, Denmark, in the 1960s. The solid teak frames cradle a floating seat and unlike many styles of the period, the back support is also cushioned, offering excellent comfort.
Each teak frame is in superb condition, and the original black vinyl upholstery is in great condition except for a tiny nick on the reverse of the back support of one chair, a picture of which has been taken and included for your perusal. Otherwise, there is no damage or tears and the seat foam has been assessed as being in good condition also.
The France and Son medallion is intact and present on each chair frame, found under the seat.
