A lovely vintage Roland Rainer rocker dating from the mid century, that is ready and waiting to adorn your home. Often mistakenly attributed to other designers such as Tapiovaara or Larsson, this is arguably, a rarer piece. A beautiful hardwood oak seat that contrasts beautifully with the black lacquered Beech frame, legs, and arms.
This particular piece is in excellent structural condition, and wears its 60 years’ life experience with pride! The original black lacquer is in great condition; only the lightest of wear as can be seen in the photographs. The seat is gorgeous: a solid piece of Oak that derriere’s have softened to a lovely patina over the years!
The whole piece has been checked and cleaned, with the seat being reoiled with Danish oil, before waxing to a lovely finish.
This lovely rocking chair would be a stunning addition to any room, whether in a bachelor pad, city loft, family home; it will serve equally well and will be an investment piece for life…
