Morning vintage lovers!
I hope you’re feeling refreshed and invigorated by the sunshine, the cool (read; Arctic) breeze, and the opportunity to travel and little further afield and hopefully see some loved ones from a respectable distance.
We’re just back from a brief sojourn up to the Lakes, which was a very welcome change of scene and the chance to stretch our legs – but before we pottered off, we left you with a little flurry of new items on the website! In case you missed any in the excitement, here’s a little recap:
Our first set of these fabulous drawers sold out in a flash, so we’re really pleased to have found another set to share with you. Featuring solid teak and teak veneer, they offer tonnes of storage with iconic style.
From the same Cantata range, with the classic metal handles, we have a matching pair of bedside cabinets. It’s so rare to find pairs of vintage furniture, we’re delighted to be able to offer these as a set.
Next up, a super practical chest of 5 drawers from mid century greats, GPlan. The Brandon range is very popular with mid century lovers, and rightly so – this chest features handy dividers in the top drawer, with the further 4 drawers increasing in depth to cover all your storage needs. The neatly chiseled handles provide a eye catching detail.
And last, but by no means least, the “Kroken” chair, designed by Ake Fribytter. This much lauded design from the 1970s pairs a bentwood beech frame with a canvas and leather hammock seat to create what is possibly the most comfortable lounge chair you will ever own. Seriously, Mr Happy Chair would not get up out of it when she sat down for ‘testing’ purposes.
So there you have it! Plenty of gorgeous goodies to get your teeth into – the next week or so is going to be a little quiet on the new listings front, as I have a commission for a very patient customer that I absolutely must get finished – but you’ve got all this loveliness to look at in the meantime!
Have a wonderful week, vintage fans
