July Newness News

A new month is upon us! July is here, and with it we have some new stock, and a new chairty to support.

Let’s start with the stock –

Newly added to the Happy Chair gang in the last few weeks, we have a fantastic Roland Rainer rocking chair, a sweet metal Scouts sign, and not one, but two mid century coat stands!

The Roland Rainer – A solid hardwood oak seat that contrasts beautifully with the lightness of the overall design.

Hiding in the background of that Rainer picture is the cast metal Scout Headquarters sign:

He’s a beauty in his own right! No more hiding in the background!

Next up we have the Abbess Coatstands (we actually have three of these in stock – you could make your own coatstand forest…)

This model is called the ‘Cactus’. Guess why.

AND as if that wasn’t enough, you can go for a more atomic mid century feel with these ball-end coat stands!

It’s an embarrassment of riches, really.

Of course, with a new month comes a new charity to support via Work For Good. For July it’s the Water Smart Foundation, whose “objective is for the conservation and protection of the natural environment, by the reduction of global pollution caused by current methods of production and distribution of water.” If you’re going plastic free this July, or even just trying to reduce your plastic, this a great charity to support. A percentage of every sale we make this month will be donated to the Water Smart Foundation.

And that pretty much brings us up to date for July!

Until next week, vintage lovers,
