July is here! Of course, with a new month comes a new charity to support via Work For Good. For this month it’s the Water Smart Foundation, whose “objective is for the conservation and protection of the natural environment, by the reduction of global pollution caused by current methods of production and distribution of water.” If you’re going plastic free this July, or even just trying to reduce your plastic, this a great charity to support. A percentage of every sale we make this month will be donated to the Water Smart Foundation, via our partnership with Work For Good.

Just in case you needed any help in thinking how exactly you could contribute to this month donation, let me show a few o fthe things up on the website!

The Lem Senge Dining Table

This unusual oval shaped teak dining table will comfortably seat four, or six to eight when extended. High quality thick teak veneer shows a lovely grain with only light signs of use – please check all the photographs carefully. Designed by Lem Senge and made in Denmark, the two side leaves easily slide away to reveal the folding extension panel, cleverly concealed underneath. Rare to find in such lovely vintage condition, this table is both very stylish and practical – the mid century ideal!

The Rainer Rocking Chair

A lovely, Mid-Century Roland Rainer rocking chair. Often mistakenly attributed to other designers such as Tapiovaara or Larsson, this is arguably, a rarer piece. Finished in a stylish matt black, the sculpted arms and generous seat make this great Mid-Century rocking chair  a stunning addition to any room, whether in a bachelor pad, city loft, nursery or family home.

The Uniflex Dressing Table

A fabulous late 1950s – early 1960s vintage teak dressing table by Uniflex. With four drawers for storage, a tilting mirror and a fantastic hidden lift up compartment in the middle!

The central storage compartment features moulded plastic compartments, which show some very minor signs of wear. The dressing table itself is in very good vintage condition – there are minor marks commensurate with age and use, please see the photographs for details.  This particular dresser has had a very careful owner who has added glass protectors to the top surfaces, which are a lovely and useful feature.

Have a wonderful week everybody,
