Hello vintage lovers!
This week I’m giving you a quick round up of all the lovely new (old) pieces that have hit the site in recent weeks – starting with the James Leonard Ply topped Compass tables for Esavian!
Apart from having the longest product name in the world, these tables are the perfect size for your mini-mid century fans – ideal for arts and crafts, lego building, colouring, you name it.
Originally topped with formica, these tables (we have two) were too badly damaged – so we rescued the fantastic ‘compass’ shaped frames and brought them back to life with new ply wood tops.
Next up is the first addition to the new Homewares section of the website, the vintage hexie quilt. So many tiny hexagons, so many gorgeous colours – and one imagines, so many hours spent creating it!
Light weight, perfect for summer on its own or as an extra winter layer, this quilt is a testament to the skill of home sewers everywhere.
And squeezing in right at the last minute we have these brilliant drawers from the aforementioned vintage greats, Esavian. Slim enough to fit in a hallway but roomy enough to store plenty of ‘stuff’, these beauties also make a lovely mini version of our big Esavian drawers!
Coming up over the next few weeks – more storage in the form of Uniflex units, a rocking mobler, and something for the curios category…
Have a great week my treasures!
