Happy Chair Home are delighted to offer for sale this wonderful vintage De Sede DS31 swivel chair and ottoman in chocolate brown leather. Dating from the 1960s, and with the rare prototype brushed aluminium base, this chair and ottoman combo is sure to be one of your favourite pieces.

Manufactured by Swiss design superstars, De Sede, the DS31 is considered iconic amongst their designs. The DS31 has remained as an aspirational piece in many a mid century interior, with bold, clean lines, sumptuous leather, and De Sede’s trademark leather whipstitching. The leather on both is in lovely, aged condition, and has been given an additional feed with high quality leather conditioners. As can be seen from the pictures the leather has worn to a wonderful patina over their sixty years existence

Perched atop their thick aluminium bases, that in our opinion are far more aesthetically pleasing that the more industrial base on newer models, this chair and ottoman make for a cool, comfortable and good-looking pair.
