A beautiful dining table from Ercol – first produced in 1957 to the mid 1970s.
Boasting a superb English Elm table top, with wonderful grain, and sturdy Beech frame, The drop leaves of this dining table make it a very versatile piece of furniture – it can easily seat 6, but without taking up too much space. Alternatively one or both sides can be dropped down to provide a cosier dining space.
The solid elm top has been gently refinished with three coats of Danish oil to enhance the gorgeous grain. The legs show slight signs of age and use, but are in excellent structural condition.
Offering great versatility, the Ercol dropleaf has many variants, all of which are loved for their ability to be a number of dining solutions in one design: drop both leaves and you have a cosy table for two, extend one leaf and four can easily sit, while extending both gives a dining table for up to six. Each leaf is supported by a strong metal rod that slides out and back into the main frame of the table when not needed; a table that grows with your family? Genius.
Max width 125cm
