single Kandya Jason chairs by Carl Jacobs, 1950s

Designed by Carl Jacobs in the 1950s for British furniture makers Kandya, the Jason chair is ingeniously formed from one sheet of flexible ply, curved around and in on itself to form the light, fluid shape. The slender metal legs keep the design minimal and sleek.

This listing is for ONE chair.

Highly collectable and desirable pieces, the Jason chair is such an iconic design that one resides in the V&A permanent collection – and whilst they are often sold singly, we are delighted to be able to offer a complete set.

These 3 are in really superb vintage condition. There are some slight signs of wear, as to be expected with a piece of this age – please see the photographs or request more details if you wish.

These also come with their rare original seat pads – these have sadly not aged as well as the chairs themselves, but may be useful to the new owners, and so are included in the sale.
